We Accept New Patients!
Thank you for your interest in booking an appointment with Heritage House Dental. As a new patient, we will ask for some information so we can better understand your needs and provide care that is right for you.
During your new patient visit, we will discuss your overall health, current dental health, lifestyle factors, needs, goals, and any aesthetic concerns. Our dentists believe it is important to understand each patient’s situation before recommending care. Based on your exam and our discussion with you, we will create a suitable plan for your future dental care.
At your first visit we will:
- Review your medical and dental history
- Take digital X-rays of your teeth
- Take digital photographs of your teeth and smile
- Assess the fit and function of your teeth and any existing dental work
- Complete a periodontal exam to check your gum tissue and supporting structures
- Screen for oral cancer
- Discuss aesthetic concerns and possible treatment options
- Discuss sedation options for anxious patients
Our dentists will sit with you to review their findings and answer your questions. They will take time to explain your options, including the advantages and disadvantages of different treatments, so you can make an informed decision about your care.
We also want your visit to feel comfortable. Our practice includes televisions in every room and massaging dental chairs to help make your appointment more relaxing.
